Default How To Read From RSS Feed?

This is a great looking application and fits my needs well. My only problem is that I need this application to read the article text and images from an RSS feed. I need to be able to update the news displayed on the reader regularly without having to upload new images and text via ftp.

This flash application is called Advanced News Reader but it seems by default it only reads from a simple text file. Is there any work around here to substitute the text / image fields with information fed via RSS?

Thanks.

Hello,

We are curently on vacation so developer responses are slow. However I can tell you that if you want to use rss it's just a matter of making a quick php file that will parse the rss feed and generate the xml in the format used by the reader. Please keep in mind that this file was not advertised as a rss feed reader, just a news reader. As mentioned above, the php would simply need to convert the xml from the standard rss format to the one used by the reader and it will work seamlessly, no problem.

Cheers,
Octav
