Hey Patriots
I downloaded the Dock Menu V.2 from FlashDen last night. Take a look here Elite XML Website I know its in the middle as i did it very late last night, i had a play around with the following files: Data.xml amplitude="100" _space="137" curve="3" secondcurve="2" thumbwidth="80" thumbheight="40" Scroller.as private var space:Number =137; //default value private var amplitude:Number =100; //default value private var size:Number = main.thumbW + 55 ; //between thumbs private var curve:Number = 3; //optimal value private var secondCurve:Number = 2// optimal value public var o:Number = 0; public function scroller(){ The line i have highlighted i adjusted the no to +55 it was lower but it has gave me more space between thumbs. So basically adjust the values to your needs etc Hope this helps as i said before im new to flash myself. but always willing to help if i can. Mark |

LuckyWish Thank you. I will try what you have suggested. I hope I can get it to work as well as the screenshot below.
The screenshot is using the carousel version, which worked perfect out of the box. It stays within the swf file in the middle of it. What I need is for Dock Menu V2 to stay within the bounds of the swf file that gets loaded into the scene. For some reason the Dock Menu V2 spills out into the entire scene outside of its own swf. ![]() |

Unfortunately no matter what I do it is too unpredictable. If the page is resized it will move around the stage. I need for it to stay in its own movie clip like the carousel version. I am going to ask for credit on this and buy it again if it ever gets fixed.
I don’t have the time to wait. I need something that will work now, so I can put my web page together. Last edited by Patriots; 01-19-2009 at 10:59 PM. |
