Default Swapping out thumbnails/xml with Movieclip

Hi,

Can anyone give me some tips on how to replace the xml/thumbnail functionality with just a simple wider than the window movieclip that can be scrolled back and forth. The effect being that you are seeing just a portion of a larger room and being able to scroll to the left and right areas of it.

thanks a lot

Hi,
You should try our image panning component. It might be what you're looking for.

Hi Adrian,

Hmmmm. That seems like it is more along the lines of what I need but I have already purchased the horizontal scroller. Is there any way I could exchange the horizontal scroller component for the image panning one?

thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark ,
You can't exchange it , you'll have to purchase the image panning component if you need it in your projects.

Hi Adrian,

Someone had posted this on the image panning page on Flashden:

"A really simple question on this file. Is it possible to have the mc when loaded out of the library to start at a specific position?"

It is important that my MC is centered when it loads. Will this be possible?

thanks,

Mark
