how to edit image.as

I am editing the image.as file directly in a text editor and expecting the html to reflect my changes. I bought this product thinking it was configurable without Flash, but instead in xml. But since my edits are not reflected in the html, I am guessing I need to make my edits in Flash? Am I right that my changes in the image.as file need to be compiled in Flash?

After you edit Image.as you must republish the swf by opening the main fla file and hiting Shift+F12.

Thanks, just to confirm that's opening the main.fla file inside Flash? Basically, I have to have Flash to be able to configure this?

Yes, you must have flash.
