Use on 3rd party site?

Is there anyway to get the reader to work on a site like MySpace? More specifically, I have a Ning.com site, but I can't get it to work because I can't add the header code in there. Ning allows me to add widgets where I can embed the player, but is there a way to have the header code work as inline javascript? I know I can create a whole other page and embed the entire page, but I want it to work as a widget on my home page.
