can the RSS reader be loaded with SWFobject with the feed URL a parameter? If not, is there another way to load the reader movie with the feed URL as a parameter? This will be used on a dynamic page, reading feeds based off of a changing URL.

just figured this out myself in case anyone needs to know. It is trivial to pass variables to flash, then just hack up the actionscript. I named my variable feedurl and made RSSUrl= My site's domain/folder/news.php?url="+feedurl

then called the swf as news.swf?feedurl=http://the url of my feed
and that works fine. I'm sure this can be done the same with flashvars in swfobject.
