why do the toggle buttons never appear on the stage when i edit the file?

Im no where near a flash expert, but i can make what i need, modify stuff, etc.

I wanted this because i liked how the middle toggle button animated and wanted to use it in a project. I only wanted it to be around a 50x50 pixel image, white background.

I went through deleted the background and text changed the stage size to 50x50 (from the 590x300 it's set at) and then proceeded to center the button on the current resized stage. It doesnt show up when i test the movie on the stage size, but if i drag/scale the preview window its always a good 200+ pixels to the bottom right aligned.

I bought this in hopes and reading how easy it was to do, and its bothering me i cant figure this out.

Is there some simple setting somewhere to get this to work?

NVM i figured it out. it was in the xml file. thats weird
