Next - Back Buttons for items

Hiya!

I'm cracking my brains on this one, so please, anybody help!

I customized the list in order for it to load Images.
So I have several galleries. And in each gallery, I would
like to put a NEXT and BACK button.

So instead of clicking on each item on the list, instead,
you'll click on the NEXT and BACK buttons.

The thing is, that I don't know how to detect which image is
currently being displayed on the XML NODE.

Or how just to have a function that would call the NEXT ITEM
on the Category.

I know it is a simple thing, yet still, can't manage my way through.

Another example of showing you what's happening is by looking into
the XML CODE:

<playlist title="My Gallery">

<category title="Photos">
<item title="01" clip="image01.jpg"/>
<item title="02" clip="image02.jpg"/>
<item title="03" clip="image03.jpg"/>
<item title="04" clip="image04.jpg"/>
<item title="05" clip="image05.jpg"/>
</category>

</playlist>

All I need to do is to GO FROM "image01.jpg" to "image02.jpg" with just
a button click, and NOT BY CLICKING DIRECTLY ON THE LIST.

I will make NEXT - BACK buttons for this.
