How to integrate it in another flash movie?

Hello, i am trying to integrate the news.swf in my main movie calling it with

on(release){
	loadMovie("news.swf", "_root.vacio"); }

When i try the main movie, and press the button, it calls news.swf in _root.vacio but this movie don´t charge any XMl data or photos...etc.

How can i integrate this news Reader in my main movie? , i use to call secundary movies in this way but i find this problem with this file

Should i change sometehing or how should i integrate it?

Try this:

_root.vacio._lockroot = true;
on(release){
	loadMovie("news.swf", "_root.vacio"); 
}

Let me know if it works.

When i try with the code above, the main movie doesn´t charge anything.

In the previous way

on(release){
	loadMovie("news.swf", "_root.vacio"); }

i get this, you can see it on this link, "clicking" in the button "Noticias"


As you can see when you click, charges news.swf but not the XML data and charges the pictures but just down from the News Reader...

Any suggestion? Thanks!

it should be...

on(release){
	loadMovie("news.swf", _root.vacio); }

without the quotation marks.

Thanks for the help but it is not working at all!!

Now when i press the button it oppens a new window HTMl and try to find the news.swf...

What i need is to integrate the news.swf in my main movie, i have tried too importing all the fotograms from news.fla to my main movie, but doesn´t charge the XML data either...

If this file is to be used in an independent HTMl window should be said before people buy it!!!

Sorry, but I can't image what code have you written and where have you written it, but I'm sure you written it wrong like in the sample code you have posted. Try to be more specific, so I can help you. Try sending me the files if it's possible so I can take a look:

I attach some files, so yo can see the way other movies are integrated in the “Mainmovie” and the way the news.fla should be integrated but it is not working…

I send you the Main Movie “base test.fla”, and other secundary movies .swf in order to see the way the secundary movies are charged. I send too the repective files of the “news reader” in the way i use it but they are not charged rightly. The files can be downloaded from the next link:

In the mainmovie.fla, in “Menu” layer are the actions i used to call other movies but with the news ("noticias") are not working.

I hope you can take a better idea with this files, anyway the last objetive is to integrate the news.swf inside another flash movie.
