No worries I had been trying to target an iframe in the data.xml file by specifying _target="window" and had name="window and id="window" in my iframe tag, but still couldn't get it working!

It turns out that if you are using Flash 8, you need to upload the files and test on a server, as if you test it locally it will just open the file in a new window every time.
