Default crashes firefox mac/pc if no xml file is found

Is there any way to prevent this file from crashing firefox when no xml file is being found. It seems to do it quite consistently.

thanks

Hi,
I don't mean to be rude, but how do you plan to use it without a xml file ? There are some while loops that are doing the xml parsing and if no xml is provided I think those loops are crashing the browser.

Default crashing firefox

No offense taken .... and yes, normally i wouldnt care, its an easy thing to fix .... add an xml file. I get that, i used this for a fairly large client, and it did come back as a bug in the ticker. Under normal circumstances, 99.99% of the time there is going to be the xml file there. But just in the case that the xml file doesnt load up properly .... server hang, mislabeled file ... whatever, its still not right that it crashes the browser.

A fail safe would be nice to have in there. Just it quietly dying , rather than killing the whole browser.

Default Crashes Both IE and FF

I can get the swf file to show up on my webpage but it doesn't load the news and the browsers just freez. Almost like it it can't find the xml or something. Where in the actionScript can I change the location of the xml?
