Load swf from xml file in News Ticker?

I have just placed the News Ticker into my flash site. I noticed that the xml file provides a way to load web pages when the news items are clicked upon.

Is there a way to specify the loading of an swf (on the same page - within the flash site ) from this xml file? Instead of loading a whole new page.

I load all of my flash elements on this site with the loadMovieNum("",#) convention. Can a similar command be used in the xml file to load elements when the News Ticker item is clicked?
