Hi.

The "loadMovie"-Thread was wonderful. It loads perfectly!
The problem I have now is, that the newsticker isn't masked.
It shows the "orange-date" scrolling down (under the white stripe) and the text scrolling up and down above the white stripe.

The 2nd thing is: When I run the page, the newsticker is on the whole screen (from left to right over the whole page)

Can somebody tell me the code or what I can do 2 solve this?

The file was mainly created to be used embed in html , that is why it streches to fit the window. That is so it will take the dimensions given to the flash object inside html. So you could control the size directly in the html. You could create a mask movie clip and apply it to the news ticker symbol/layer.

I do have a problem with the actionscript v.1.0. What do I have to do, to make it run under actionscript v.2.0 ?

Can you please help me in this matter?

The file is made with AS2, what do you mean by making it run under AS2 ?
